Activity for Adolescents
ViveMotion provides Programmes aimed at young people (11-15 years olds) with the objective of encouraging in regular exercise and sports participation. This can either be in Secondary School or After School in Youth Clubs, Sports Clubs, school halls or other community facilities. The programme introduces young people to and progresses them through a number of Olympic sports - Athletics (both Field and Track), Badminton, Basketball, Football, Handball, Hockey, Softball and Volleyball.
Research has shown that the 90 minute period following school is the highest risk period for initial experimentation with narcotics and participation in anti-social behaviour. This programme provides an effective alternative whilst encouraging healthy exercise practices and sporting excellence.
Young people will improve across all of the basic components of fitness while developing social interaction skills such as team work, communication and camaraderie. This programme acts as a vehicle to help keep young people fit, healthy, active and occupied in a fun and supportive environment.
